Todd served as President, N.A. for Arcsoft and prior to this held executive management roles at Microsoft, Staples and Intel. Todd brings his visionary ability to define and influence long-term business success to BrightVolt. He provides a sharp focus and dedication to leadership and operational excellence.
He holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Roanoke College.
Cliff is an experienced and successful CFO having previously held CFO roles in both venture capital and in private industry. Cliff has worked with a number of fast-growth venture backed private companies. In 2000, Cliff co-founded a highly successful Pacific Northwest company that sold in 2011 for a nine-figure cash price to WPP. Across his CFO career, Cliff has raised over $100 million in venture capital and debt-based financings, and managed a number of international acquisitions and business combinations.
Cliff worked extensively with many of the largest Northwest-based companies including Microsoft, Boeing and Amazon. Cliff earned his J.D. at the University of Washington and has deep experience in commercial contracts, intellectual property, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, tax and international law.
Anaba has distinguished himself in the storage/conversion energy industry in academia and private industry. He is recipient of Motorola’s Distinguished Innovation Award, Distinguished Achievement Award for Young Black Engineers, and ECS Young Author Award Nominations. He has also served as a Motorola SABA member and chaired the US Fuel Cell Council Portable Power Group.
Anaba earned his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Materials Science & Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He has authored or co-authored over 30 refereed articles in peer reviewed journals and is inventor or co-inventor of over 35 utility patents and 4 trade secrets.
Venetia Espinoza is proven marketing executive with over 25 years of consumer and enterprise experience with premier technology companies. She has deep expertise in both B2B and B2C marketing, and is known for her roll-up-her-sleeves approach, and unique ability to design and execute innovative, multi-channel marketing programs that drive demand. Recently, from 2012-2015, she was Vice President and General Manager of Carrier Channels for Softcard, a joint venture established by industry giants Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. Prior, she was Director of Product Management-Digital Stores and Mobile Payments at T-Mobile (2007-2012), where she managed T-Mobile’s entertainment and digital media business.
Venetia holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin and BS degree in Industrial Engineering.
John comes to BrightVolt with over 30 years of experience in the specialty chemical, petrochemical, and inorganic chemical industries including a startup of a new titanium powder business that was a first of its kind continuous chemical process. Prior to joining BrightVolt, he was Sr. Vice President Operations at ArrMaz. He served his career first 28 years mostly with Cristal (previously Millennium Chemicals) a global chemical company as Director Strategy and Business Development. In this position he was responsible for business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, commercial, product development, technical service, and government affairs.
John has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSCHE) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) both from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL.
James brings with him 28 years of experience in the battery and power industry where he has generated significant revenue growth for both domestic and international sales throughout his career. James joins BrightVolt from VARTA where he led National Business Development. Prior to VARTA he headed OEM Sales for Electrochem Solutions, a subsidiary of Greatbatch Ltd., a $170 million global power solutions manufacturer. In that role, James was directly responsible for significantly increasing OEM sales revenue in both medical and military market segments. Before that, James held several positions of increasing responsibility with Ultralife Corporation, a commercial and government battery design company.
